How it all began...
Shri B. M. Shah College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, run by The M. L. Gandhi Higher Education Society, was established in 1998, for providing better education, practical training in the field of pharmacy.
Modasa is well known for its best education the primary to the postgraduate level. Apart from the traditional colleges in Modasa, the first technical institute (Government Engineering College) was started by the government of Gujarat in 1986, for which our management had given full support.
Gujarat Manufactures 45% of total Indian pharmaceutical productions. Hence looking the need of pharmacist in Gujarat, our visionary management had established Diploma Pharmacy College in 1991
and degree Pharmacy College in 1998 with the help of generous nation by Shri Bhogilal Muljidas Shah, Modasa Nagrik Sahakari Bank Limited (MNSBL)
And Shri Lilachand Gulabchand Bhalavat. Both the institutions have grown to their excellence and become prestigious at national level.
Dr. N. M. Patel has served as pioneering principal of
this
college. Dr. C. J. Shishoo and Mr. R. R. Shah had also nurtured
this institute. The team comprise of Principal, Professor, four
Asst. Professors and thirteen Lecturers are working towards
achieving goals.

The college has been able to achieve its goals by the whole hearted and tireless support as well as positive attitude of the management in every aspects.
